I had a fantastic stay at Pohutu Lodge Motel. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that all our needs were met. The location was perfect, with easy access to the Redwood Forest and other attractions. The 2 bedroom family unit exceeded my expectations, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The unit was well-equipped with a fully functional kitchen and all the necessary amenities. The cleanliness of the place was spotless and the free parking right outside our door was convenient. it was great value for money and I highly recommend staying here.

Locality was great to my husband's cycle race (Rotorua Flyer). Our accommodation totally suited our family.

Someone stole the plugs! But the manager rectified the problem promptly.

Hotel rules.no.1 Relax. No.2 see No.1 No.3 see no.2. You fel like part of the family .. No Mr this just first names. Yes it is quit but for those wanting to chill .perfect. then have some carva relax some more. Would recomend to all ages . food is very good as well. Blue sea .and warm what else is there

This hotel is great for families. With two bedrooms, everyone can have their own space and there's no need for anyone to sleep in the lounge. The rooms are a good size, comfortable, and clean, with new duvets and queen beds. The location of this hotel is perfect for those wanting to explore the geothermal activities as it's right next to a geothermal park and near Rotorua thermal parks. Additionally, the staff are very friendly and helpful, offering discounts to attractions in the area.

can see the geysers from the room. Was able to go through a gate at the back to see them closer. The manager was very friendly, rearranged a trip for me at short notice. Repaired a broken toilet immediately after we reported it.

The hotel is conveniently located between the two main attractions we wanted to visit in Rotorua. We were able to walk to these major attractions and save on transportation costs. Additionally, the staff was friendly and provided excellent service during our stay. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and new duvets that added a touch of luxury.

We had an unfortunate situation where some of the other guests were loud and unruly, making our stay less than pleasant.

Sleepless night.. Unfortunately there were many timber trucks lumbering past all night resulting in noise and vibrations that kept us awake. Downgraded Location and comfort because of this.

The friendliness of the owners made us feel really welcome, the kitchen facilities handy and the bed very comfortable.
